Mission

Our mission is to:

Empowering young people to recognize their responsibility in educating themselves and becoming independent in their lives.
To develop and support the Church by participating in the work of the Church, regarding Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, and Social development.
To spread the news of the Church and try to bring about good relations between apostolic societies, various denominations and other religions.
To take appropriate steps to promote all matters deemed beneficial to the Church and the welfare of society.
To build young people in an environment of good conduct based on the principle of Life Reflection guided by the Seeing-Deciding-Acting style. And other appropriate parenting styles.
To remind all young people that we all depend on each other to counsel, accompany, and teach each other physically and spiritually.

History of TYCW - Wazo Parish

TYCW is an apostolic association of Catholic Youth Workers who are sent by the Church to spread the good news that Jesus Christ is the true way and life to all young people in their daily lives. This association unites young people and helps them see their situation, decide on it in the light of the gospel and lead them to take actions to change their situation and make it better through Reflection on Life. Wazo Parish was elevated to full Parish status in 2014, from being a branch that was under Tegeta Parish and later Mivumoni Parish, TYCW have continued to be a catalyst for development The Parish and the Church in general.
